The Corvallis Tour application is an accompanying website for a guided tour in Corvallis.
It detects a touring person's location, display where they are on a map, and show a variety of images and descriptions for each location. A location represents a "stop" on the tour and thus each will be separated by a significant distance.
A button on the top bar which will move the center of the map to user's current location.
Managing locations and images
With the release of Rails 5: http://weblog.rubyonrails.org/releases/ 3.x and <4.2 are unsupported.
Is A) your current location that you start at? Is it possible to get directional arrows on your path?
This app should work (almost) perfectly under network unaccessible / poor environment.
Display google maps on homepage, with the header and the toolbar.
Seems to be a problem with safari.

When image being displayed on the screen, swipe event should be bind on the whole page.
The order of spots should be fixed in database using acts_as_list.
