I was trying to download a nightly and somehow I downloaded it 'successfully' 5 times getting 5 different MD5 sums which was very strange. Would is be possible to include checksums alongside the downloads? Aswell, now that website encryption certificates are free, why not use TLS encryption? Both are pretty standard for minimizing risks such corruption and man in the middle tampering.

In the list of map regions to download inside OsmAnd 3.0, it seems "Africa Western-sahara" map is not translated.
However there is Western Sahara data in the file
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd-misc/master/osm-planet/osm-data/countries_admin_level_2.osm

So maybe just the relation 2559126 is not properly linked to the map file name?

I've found out that osmand.net and many of the subdomains including the download servers lack IPv6 in DNS. I have compiled a list of hosts below using crt.sh.
It would be very worthwhile to work this up, as IPv6 adoption is progressing globally and it has become the dominant protocol in many countries - with a steadily increasing trend.
Some ISPs are already starting to ditch the legacy protocol (IPv4) and some just cannot bother or afford to deal with it. It's getting harder and harder to obtain IPv4 blocks.
If necessary, I can provide links to resources, statistics, answers to questions and some help.

Anway: http://osmand.net/rss.xml cannot be read by either my feed reader (Akregator on Linux) nor Firefox.
It worked perfectly in the past – "5 years with OsmAnd!" is the last post that worked.

Is this workable? We are having difficulty downloading the whole maps in areas with limited connection? Will add a poly in a PR if this gets approved.

I've got Osmand from f-droid.org because I'm sure all there comes as secure FOSS.
When I tap on a map element and then "online pictures" at its data sheet, I see the option to add photos. If I use this feature, I'm asked to install "mapillary". Link redirects to osmand.net website

I look for "mapillary" in f-droid.org catalog and I don't find anything.
