Currently, data is transferred from /proc/kcore to the output file by reading and writing.
This is very inefficient, because the data needs to be copied from kernel space to user space and back again.
Furthermore, no buffering is done so memory usage of the temporary data buffer can exceed the available physical memory.
To fix this, use one of the specialized system calls for transferring data between files - splice, sendfile or copy_file_range.
This will ensure efficient data transfer and allow the kernel to perform buffering to optimize memory usage.
