Advanced branch of open-hydro-dp. A library using discrete dynamic programming to help determine efficient operating settings for individual hydropower turbines. The model works better for lower head, seperate-intake configurations. It supports generator efficiency curves (%eff vs output at reference head) and turbine curves (%eff vs output at reference head with adjustments).

The code has been used in several models so far - to both calibrate piecewise concave plant curves for a LPQ optimization and to perform an energy post-analysis. It may be that existing docs could be pillaged and integrated into the opensource release.
I think the problem is that the francis curve needs to be extended out a bit more, but I'm not sure - these are very old curves that likely were just made up.
