Any plans to support Multi-Monitor?

This is a lovely soft! Thank you very much for pushing it to GitHub and making it available. ;-)

I have a fullscreen dashboard with graphs - showing google analytics real-time traffic on websites.
It would be truly amazing to display it as a screensaver.

Instead of loading the photos - just give people a chance to provide "URL" for loading a website, please...

this makes me very sad, whats the reason?

Would it be possible to make the random transitions truly random instead of chosen once when the screensaver starts up?
With some direction, I'd be down to help.

Each time an album is selected, a call is made to https://photoslibrary.googleapis.com/v1/mediaItems:search, and then the list-container is repainted. With a lot of albums, this takes many seconds.

I installed Neverware CloudReady on a mini-PC to make a "chromebox" and hoped this would be a solution for a screensaver. It starts fine but after somewhere between 10-30 minutes the whole system locks up (also, very warm to the touch like the CPU is pegged) and I have to hold the power button to shut down and restart. Removed the extension and the system is back to normal.

Thanks for the wonderful photscreensaver. It works fine on Chrome. But when I tried on Microsoft Edge (based on Chromium) on Windows 10 OS...

1. I am able to install the extension from Chrome store
2. Preview shows that the extension is working fine (with images from Chromecast)
3. I am able to allow "Manage access to Google Photos" and verify "Current Status: Allowed"
4. When I try to "Select Google Photos", I get

Not signed in to Chrome
Please sign in to Chrome with the account that has your Google Photos.

I can open another tab and go to https://photos.google.com and I am able to see my Photos/Albums. Hence, I do know I am signed in...

From what I can tell (and my limited experience with Javascript and the Google Photos API), a 429 error status typically indicates that the user has exceeded the rate limit for accessing a particular service or API. This could suggest that the plugin is making too many requests to the Google Photos API, which is causing the rate limit to be exceeded.

The error message suggests that there may be an issue with the code that handles error messages, as it is calling a function called "showErrorDialog."

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Love the screensaver!

I would love to be able to increase the number of photos loaded per album, instead of limited to 2000.

Is this worth it now that Google Photos API doesn't support it?

Not sure if this is due to other folks already selecting up their albums or not, but I cannot proceed in selecting my albums.

Got the following error after checking the box, "Show current weather, if available" and allowing for the extension to know my location:

Oddly, Photo Screen Saver displays a temperature, but clearly not the correct one. I live in Cleveland, OH and it's telling me it's 80 degrees Fahrenheit in April.

I've done the following to troubleshoot:

• Followed the instructions in the FAQ and cleared the cache.
• Went to More Tools > Extensions > Photo Screen Saver > Details and verified that it can access https://api.openweathermap.org/*
• Disabled uBlock Origin for https://api.openweathermap.org/*

photos in selected album are not updated after adding photos to this album.
(i was need to unselect and reselect the album for see the new photos)

Reproduce:

photo doesnt exist in album.

I have been using Google Photos Saver as a screen saver for over 10 years in dual monitor (1920 * 1080 and 1080 * 1920) environments.

The Picasa project was interrupted and all other features were disabled, except for files in your local folder. (Exactly, the ability to import photos from web albums and public RSS feeds has been discontinued.)

While looking for an alternative to the Google Photos screensaver, I found your photo screen saver. I was really glad.

If only the following three issues are resolved, it will be my best photo screen saver for the next 10 years.

1. Add collage effect in picture display mode.

2. In dual-monitor or higher environments, optional display of pictures that match the shape of the monitor. (Horizontal photograph of horizontal monitor and vertical photograph of vertical monitor) Minimize unnecessary margin of monitor.

3. Works as a standalone Windows screen saver like the GPHOTO.SCR file instead of the Chrome extension.

I am not a professional programmer and I have written GITHUB for the first time through a translator to communicate this request. (In fact, I do not know what GITHUB is doing. I'm not sure it's right to write this article here.)
