Installation is pretty slow, probably due to the high number of needed packages to install in the environment. Not sure if this is can somehow be speed up, but would be nice to find a way to do so.

Launched ImSwitch with no hardware attached to the PC. I imagine though this is a package missing in the ImSwitch requirements list which needs to be added

@jacopoabramo, you have mentioned that you had errors while installing ImSwitch. Could tell me which version you have used and where you downloaded it? I cannot reproduce your screenshot on a fresh windows installation.

However, I would like to have a better user display by e.g. adding a loading bar or something like that.

It's still in the downloading mode, but it seems to be working:

You need to use the artifacts, not the release.

The page in the installer stays blank @beniroquai

Would be nice to add a progress bar to show the current status of the installation.

In the menu I would like to see a button to open the terminal on MAC/Windows, to install additional packages without a hassle. @jacopoabramo @beniroquai

Right now the app (in windows mostly) does require the executable everytime the software is launched. This should be changed by copying the files to /User/imSwitch instead and create a launch icon on the desktop

Since we use mambaforge, we could easily install incremental updates rather than full new versions using git.
