Hi there!
I'm not sure whether this is appropriate, or where it might fit in the repo (readme perhaps?), but I came across this little library of free/public domain logos.

Perhaps they belong in the readme, or in the "unofficial" section, or perhaps they don't belong at all. Let me know what you prefer and I can do a PR to include them as a resource.

It's a great idea to collect OSS logos in one place. However, is there a possibility to publish branding (redesigns etc) for OSS projects here? Or should I go to dribbble or somewhere with this kind of stuff?
For example, logo and stickers for a JS conf. It was made for gratis.

@opensourcedesign hey everyone, I started a new repo as per an idea from a new community member- it would be cool to create a collection of FOSS logos so us designers don't need to hunt all over the web for logos in our designs... among other reasons 😄

As per this neat start by @mcginty which I really like this start as an improvement over the existing Tor logo / branding- some ideas to explore a few variations (which I'd be also curious to see) are:

• Make the thickness of the T and R a thicker weight font (extra / ultra)
• Make the centric rings slightly thicker, currently will lose details scaled down
• Make middle dot a little larger in size, like 20% bigger
• Add a few more dots (like the center one) placed "randomly / staggered" on the outwards rings
• Loose the faint drop shadow

There is a great Open Source project called instant-logos that allows you to search (e.g. Linux) for basically any logo and you then download a png or svg. I suggest we fork it for the following reasons:

• Only allow Open Source logos
• License for the logo (e.g. CC BY 3.0)
• Copyright Holder (e.g. Acme Software Foundation)
• Designer (e.g. Jason Long)
• Make it work on GitHub Pages (less maintenance)
• Replace Ads with links to donate to (fill in the blank) Foundation

We can also just partner with Instant Logos.
