osc_website's Issues

Set up TravisCI

Considering PR #1, we should mitigate any deployment woes with automated testing of the most recent versions of Gems.

This is also a good place to test:

  • HTML5 validity
  • CSS validity
  • Microformats validity

Miscellaneous content tasks

  • Write our first news post
  • Link to our Twitter
  • Link to Awesome Cornell
  • Liquid filter for dates (supporting timezones)
  • Liquid filter or Markdown plugin for blockquote citations (for convenience)

README and LICENSE

README: just explain what this is

LICENSE: some sort of Creative Commons, I assume

Rebase / Merge / Squash

Are we keeping branch history? I tend not to in my projects unless there's something very important and long running. GH doesn't natively support such a workflow.

Where to store webmention data?

On my own site, I'm considering putting it directly in git. Should we try to offload it to webmention.io or something, or can we put it in our git repo?
