Currently the steps to apply hotfixes from release branches to master involve a full branch merge with the ---no-ff option. We are changing the approach to use cherry-picking with -x option instead and the documentation must be updated for that.

Improve the text and links of the readme to include more descriptions and add things such as: code contribution, issue, documentation, how to communicate, how to send the first contribution, etc.

The document development/osgi/osgi-dev.md has an example of dependencies missing on the uber bundle using yavijava and vmware named packages. Please replace those with a more fitting example.

A contributing guide for documentation will be useful to ensure consistency between all documentation.

Content mainly includes formatting and emphasizing rules using Markdown as well as osc.org integration information.
