magik6k-programs's Issues

Proper usage of TCP

Can you give an example of using TCP properly? It seems to work for only one user for me... It shows the connection but does not send data through the second channel to the second user...

Also, how can I get it to show the address that was binded with network.ip.bind() through the remoteAddress variable from the tcp event?

Thanks

mpt crashes when you try to use it to update packages.

When I run mpt -Syu (or anything with mpt -Sy!) it crashes with

/usr/bin/mpt.lua:338: bad argument #2 (string expected, got boolean)

I haven't dug deeper, but it's worth noting that installing and uninstalling programs seems to work.

ivew bug (?)

when i call iview (all required libraries are installed) it only gets to "Decode NBT", prints a table id and then terminates without printing the serialized version of the NBT data.

Default Gateways? (feature request)

One thing I've notices with your network program is that routing is pretty smart, but not very flexible. I know it's a big program and all, but would it be possible to add a default gateway feature? Maybe even a DNS system to help with this? I'd be willing to help with this, (with what limited skills I have) and if you are not up to modifying the network program in such a way, I have no problem with that.

can't install multiboot via oppm

so i was wanting to try this out and when i ran it i got this (i ran OPPM over OpenOS 1.7.4)

/home # oppm install multiboot
Installing package to /usr...
Installing Files...failed opening file for writing: init.lua/init.luaError while installing files for package 'multiboot': no error message. Reverting installation... Done.
Please contact the package author about this

can this be resolved?
