Bill of Materials extension cord mislabeled

Under the Voltage Control section, the AC extension cable is listed as being 1 foot, or 0.30 meters. This is incorrect, and should read 6 feet/1.82 meters. The link is correct, it's just the description text that is wrong. Unfortunately, this lead me to purchase the described product instead of the linked product.

Mainframe Assembly Guide Missing PVC Dimensions

The Base Board and Motherboard Wall do not have dimensions in the MainFrameAssemblyGuide.pdf

I made some calculations based off of reading the instructions and giving some extra space since I am still awaiting some parts for my build.

Baseboard Length, Requires a 6" L-Bracket and a 24" L-Bracket, and with wiggle room maybee 34-36".

Baseboard Width, Requires 18" L-Bracket. With wiggle room, 20-22".

Motherboard Length, Requires 18" L-Bracket, with wiggle room, 20".
Motherboard Width, same as Baseboard, so 20-22".

Is that right?

PVC equivalent?

In the UK, it's either really difficult to get rigid PVC boards this size, or it's extremely expensive.
Can any other materials be used to create motherboard/base board?

No markdown guides for Motherboard

Although there are markdown guide for the mainframe and shell, brought up in #1 and partially fixed, thanks to #2 , there are no markdown guides available for the Motherboard guide which is the meatiest section. Some other fixes rely on this like #6.

Electronics Schematic

Hi,

I am currently building the Arduino base shield assembly. In your instructions I cannot find any information on how the "S" grove connectors connect to the Arduino. The electronic schematic and motherboard assembly (section 8) only shows how the components connect to the perfboard base shield but not which specific analogue/digital connectors the soldered "S" connectors are then wired to. I may be looking in the wrong place but can you help me?

Thank you,

Rishi

Convert PDFs to Markdown or Similar

Hello!

This is a great initiative, but I was thinking: it's hard in the spirit of open source to contribute to documentation that is uploaded as PDF, since we don't have access to the source files. Maybe updating it into something like Markdown would be a nice move?

Now, I don't actually have any edits in mind, I haven't even read the whole thing. Just a thought, feel free to ignore it. 😬

License type

Hi OpenAG team,

This is a really interesting project!

Just wondering if you would be up for changing the licenses to Creative Commons - By (dropping the ShareAlike) and BSD / Apache / MIT from LGPL to encourage derivative work that is used for commercial purposes?

Using an example from the robotics community, ROS (http://wiki.ros.org/) is used in a lot of startups and established communities (helped along by its BSD license).

Thanks,
Advait

Main Frame Assembly step 12 incorrectly lists dimension as 30 ½”

The parts list in the main frame assembly list:

Punched angle  2 x 31 ½”   4 x 30”  4 x 24”  7 x 18”  4 x 6”  2 x 1”

Step 12 in the Main Frame Assembly is as follows:

12. Use the 2 30 ½” punched angle lengths as the vertical posts on the outermost electronics  chamber side, making sure that the end of the length with the cut through a punched hole is  towards the top.

There are no 30 ½” pieces, this should be 31 ½”.
