js13k-boilerplate's Issues

Consider adding more functionality to gulpfile

I was useful for me so others may benefit as well.

I don't wan't to create pull request as you may have different opinions what is essential.

In my project I have added:

  • serve - some of canvas functions do not work on file://
  • fb-flo - for live reload
  • cache manifest support (this one is the most tricky as it makes publishing more error prone)

Misc:

  • I'm adding build folder to git and deploying it to gh-pages via npm run pub
  • I prefer to run npm start for local development (and use gulp from node_modules) as you can see in package.json

PS. Thanks for such a nice starting project :)

Error when trying to build with gulp

Hey there! Just been trying out this boilerplate but I get a node error when trying to build with gulp:
Error: Cannot find module 'eslint/lib/util'

at Function.Module._load (module.js:290:25)

at Module.load (module.js:357:32)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Browserify examples

Hi,

I have not used browserify much and it would be of great help to see how to write modules for it.

Can you add examples:

  • of simple module that will be required in the main file (maybe one that creates canvas and draws rectangle)
  • of simple module that provides requestAnimationFrame polyfill
