Fonecta.fi returns "no results" with every number. Search functionality doesn't work either with fonecta, it returns "Piilotettu nimi" (Hidden name) when searching name that can be found from fonecta.

Unfortunately, Phonehook has stopped working in sailfish3.

Some parts of the interface have very small fonts on devices with high screen resolutions.

Also, it doesn't take light themes in consideration very well.

Could you have a look at that? If you don't want to spend time on this, I could try to create a PR for you addressing these points.

Hello, I don't seem to get any EULA acceptance nor search results with correct login user data.
I have attached a log trace. I can reproduce this all time and clearing the cache doesn't help.
I'm using Jolla phone with 2.0.2.48 (Aurajoki).

As a former user of ScumStopper, I am used to the fact that a blocked call gets disconnected without ringing for a few seconds. Is there any reason that it behaves like this and can calls be (optionally) blocked without ringing?

Spanish sources doesn't show any results when I search a phone number.
For example, Listaspam.com:

Truecaller data source is not working I tried clearing the cache and logged in again. I just get a response saying "No results found"

404 error with both when trying

I tried Fonecta App service first but it seemed my fonecta account doesn't work with that and switched to Fonecta.fi. Now I cannot remove Fonecta App in from the active data sources. It stays there even if I reset it and remove all my account info.

Is it possible to add an option to disable the overlay completely (not shown at all)?
I only use phonehook for call blocks. An option would be great.
I commented everything inside the function of the daemon's overlay.cpp, and recompiled a version which works (but a clean proper option, i.e., a toggle, would be great).

Thanks so much for writing this, it's working really well.

Would it be possible to add an option to expire manually added blocks automatically? Presumably many scam numbers are turned over fairly quickly, and since numbers will be recycled and sometimes given to legitimate businesses / individuals, eventually you're going to hit false positives. Obviously I can manage this manually by clearing out my block list every so often, but I'd prefer it if I could set Phonehook to automatically delete a block after something like 6 months, and just re-add them as necessary.

Even I remove and reinstall it, it shows rev 4. I've updated Sailfish to 1.1.2.15, might this cause it?

After rebooting my phone, the caller lookup stops working (returns "no results", when testing). The search function works fine with same mumber. Re-installing fixes the problem, but has to be done every time after reboot. Tested on Fonecta.fi. Someone allready reported this at openrepos, but for me solutions provided there don't work.

Problem first appeared after resetting the phone to factory settings before the last fw update.

I wanted to change the description of a blocked call, and the edit icon (pencil) suggest that I could do that, but there is no way to change the name. You have to delete the entry and look it up in the history, so that you can add it using another name.

Could this suggested edit function be added?

When using Fonecta results are binded under one name per postal code and occasionally gives wrong address for the name. In attached screenshot only search term was lastname Akola in What? -field.

the thing is that Phonehook is running correct, but today I discovered, that one phone number was calling and it displayed "no results". But when I visited server muzutozvednout.cz and inserted phone number there, it has 11 negative ratings. So maybe is there some problem with definition file for CZ. Can you please check and repair? Phone number was +420225027838. Even when I tested in phonehook, there was no results.

And one more thing - is possible to show rating while call comes in format:
11x negative, 4x positive, 6x neutral

it could be handy to decide if is this scum call or not.

I think the phonehook is not comparable with this phone

I am not sure if the other Jolla C users have this issue.

I'd like to be able to add other sites (allowlist/denylist) and to be able to set a flag as to which it is. Numbers reported as nuisance numbers by the community might also be helpful.

I installed phonehook and i installed data sources like truecaller and everycaller all but it does not does its job. It does not search any number nor from call log , nor if i enter number manually , nor if i get any call i dont know whats the issue going on.
i am using intex Aqua Fish on version 2.0.2.51

I just installed phonehook on my Xperia Z3+ using android 7.0, and everytime I open it I get a pop that says I should add some data sources to get started, and I press "okay" I just get an empty "available sources" page everytime

I should also add that I use Telia (just changed their name from Sonera) and I live in Finland...if this info matters

ps. I loved this app when I use it on my Jolla phone, I hope I can use sailfishOS again when the Xperia X phones arrives with SailfishOS

Blocking does not work after updating the sailfishos.

I downloaded the rpm package and couldn't install, if I try it with select instal from the folder "Download", containing the rpm package, a notification pops up "problem with installing phone hook" and nothing else happen. I tried to install the rpm installer from openrepos which is an rpm file as well, had the same problem. What else can I do to install it?

My system is Sony Xperia 10 II and Sailfish OS 4.2. File is phonehook-0.10.1-1.

After upgrading to SFOS 2.1.0.11 the app always returns - No Result. I'm using data source Krak as single source.
