Enhanced Multi Cursor

This plugin expands on Obsidian's default multi-cursor support.

If you want more advanced options, see Advanced Cursors by SkepticMystic.

De-Select

When you Alt-Click on an existing selection, remove it. For those times when you accidentally put a cursor in the middle of a word. Can be enabled/disabled in the plugin settings.

Keybindings

Control multiple cursors with your keyboard! Currently only supports basic Sublime Text actions, PRs welcome! This plugin creates the following new commands:

Select next occurance (Ctrl-D)
Add New Cursor to Previous Line (Ctrl-Alt-Up)
Add New Cursor to Next Line (Ctrl-Alt-Down)

These commands can be found and re-mapped in the Obsidian Hotkey editor. By default they use the same keybindings as Sublime text.

Unable to install from source - how to install and en?

Hi,

after reading this thread I wanted to give it a go and install this plugin even prior to it being published.

I tried the following:

Navigate to your valut's root folder
Go to .obsidian/plugins folder
Clone the plugins repository git clone [email protected]:ollyfg/obsidian-multi-cursor.git
Open the plugins folder
Run npm install

When I then went to settings in obsidian I get an error message when trying to enable the plugin:

I also tried to run npm run build but that failed with:

What can I do to get this installed?
(I'm happy to then write it up and make a MR into the README or some wiki page.)

Add Sublime Keybinding: Move all cursors to the end of the line

This should be bound to Ctrl+Shift+L.

Shouldn't be too hard, will just need to go through cm.listSelections(), figure out the line length, and call cm.setSelections(newSelections)

Use ctrl/cmnd insted of alt/option to multi cursors

I used in all editors. I miss that :(

Add Sublime Keybinding: Select all occurrences of current selection

This should be bound to Alt-F3.

I expect large parts can be taken from the existing selectNextOccurrence command.
