When listening to multi-lingual (RUS,JP) twitch channels sometimes messages are displayed as follow: "\xd0\xb1\xd1\x82\xd0\xb2"

Calling bot.listen() causes the server to send back:

' — b':tmi.twitch.tv NOTICE * :Improperly formatted auth\r\n'

Regardless of the reason for this, I should update the application to connect via the new Twitch API

Hi, i am konrad and i am currently writing my thesis in cs. i am making a chat bot with twitchio. i saw some sweet solutions in this project. Can i use them / copy some of them into my work? Are you ok with that? I will of course add license and/or whatever you wish into my project. Thanks for your time and answer!

Seems to be final character of the text. E.g. 'string' being recorded as 'string'[-1]
