create a system project.

place an image in the assets folder

npm start

go to localhost:3000/assets/imagename.jpg in the browser

expected behavior:
image is displayed in the browser.

result:
404 error.

create a default system with aframe-typescript-toolkit

npm run start

open console

upon inspection
this.system is undefined so of course this.system.add is not a function.
This behavior is strange doesn't aframe automatically add systems to components of the same name?

default system template will attempt to register the same system twice causing an error

Uncaught Error: The system sphere-registry has been already registered. Check that you are not loading two versions of the same system or two different systems of the same name.

To recreate this issue.

aframe-typescript-toolkit

select system

cd to created system directory.

npm install

npm ERR! notarget No matching version found for [email protected]

editing the package.json to use version 0.0.16 fixes this error however I feel like this is undesirable behavior. Either 17 hasn't been uploaded or 17 wasn't supposed to be generated.

Invoking the toolkit triggers a prompt asking to create a component or a system as expected. Arrow keys do not change the selected template from component to system.

The getter / setter of the class that extended ComponentWrapper is undefined.
I don't need a getter / setter since I use member variables instead,
Someone may have problems using getters / setters.

create a fresh system then npm install
npm run build

then this error should appear
