Fish has been upgraded, and the scripts on your system are not compatible
with this prior instance of fish. You can probably run:

exec fish
… to replace this process with a new one in-place.
Unsupported use of '||'. In fish, please use 'COMMAND; or COMMAND'.

The function:
function _git_branch_name
echo (command git symbolic-ref HEAD ^/dev/null | sed -e 's|^refs/heads/||')
end

Executing command still seems to work:
⚓ ~/D/test master ⚑ _git_branch_name
master
