Currently the borwser's tab title reads "- OGGM". The resaon is that the page title in markdown is empty "".

We want to keep it empty because otherwise it's not beautiful.

While writing this blog post I was really keen on getting the same functionality as in my website : clicking on an image allows to navigate between all images in the same post.

I found out that my jekyll template is using Magnific Popup to do the job. I tried to add it to our jekyll template but my css / jekyll skills are way too low for this.

I have become quite unhappy with how our webpage looks like. In fact, the only thing I really like is the welcome screen, but otherwise there are several issues (see e.g. #53) which are know are solved by other templates.

@OGGM/oggm-devs if you know of someone with web / jekyll skills, let me know ;-) . Maybe we could hire this person for a proper revamp / rewrite from which we could start from.

We could use some fancy css to handle the publication list (like the authors list for example)

During OGGM meeting we discussed it would be nice to categorize the publications in the publication list as the list is growing. Ideally one paper could be labelled in different categories. One being the level in which the publication uses OGGM (e.g. only make use of the center lines/more intensive use the model/ include model developments). Another category could for instance be more theme based (e.g. hydrology), or address its spatial scale (glacier/basin/regional/global) or its time scale (paleo/historical/decadal/future). Either way, there is no volunteer to implement this now and keep it up to date. Therefore this issue is just a suggestion for the future.
