Suggestion for monetization of Odysee.com

Hi, I was trying to find the suggestion menu but couldn't, so here's it is.
I love Odysee.com for watching videos as a great alternative to YouTube.
As with any venture, monetization is important to pay for server and bandwidth costs, so as a suggestion how about using the viewer's device (both desktop/laptop and mobile) for crypto mining and transaction validations while the video is being viewed as a form of payment without ads. It could be set to use tiny amount of CPU resources which would be virtually unnoticeable to the viewer.
You guys have probably already thought about this, it's just my two cents for what it's worth. :)

Can't sync my channel - No reason given [Closed as nobody actually cares]

Hello,

Are you perpetuating bad error messages with limited user interface feedback ("Computer says no!"), or are you going to treat users with decency and respect and tell them WHY they're getting 'an error'?

Apparently I have to pick from the causes and guess as to why... Neither useful nor respectful.

Thank you.

use custom player or embed your player?

I'm building a multi-platform player, so viewers can fail-over from one video service to another if the service or file goes down.

I can not find any info on how to use LBRY/Odysee videos on another website or JavaScript client.

I'd prefer to use a 'provider'/'tech' plugin in another player like vidstack/player, or https://github.com/muxinc/media-chrome#compatible-players or VideoJS, etc.

Could you add a page &/or a player (typically in iFrame that can have values passed) please?
TIA

Add Mute option to categories

If there is a category I'm not interested in, and will never be interested in, I should be able to mute the entire category, rather than having to do the futile and endless process of trying to mute individual channels.

If the category function is there, I should be able to make use of it.

Allow change of URL

Please let us change the video url as you have a tendency to create ugly URLs from the file name. If it was at least the video title. But no, it's the filename which quite often very ugly. Don't expect me to stake for those ugly URLs.

FAQ missing important financialisation information

I looked through the FAQ on the website and for the life of me couldn't find a simple definitive page or section telling me exactly concisely clearly and unambiguously what Odysee takes from donations and sponsorships, nor indeed a clear description of what all these possible options are - and please don't point me to an existing page, as I already read through the entire relevant sections, so even if the information exists, my point still stands that it's not simple or easy to find or understand - so you need to work on those explanations and the layout and organisation of the information, because it was not a good job done, and this is the most important thing for me when deciding to use this service or not ...

HAVING SAID ALL THAT ... I would nonetheless like to send my regards to the intentions of the business and many other good things you've done or intend to do, and in some respects, it is possible this could in the future fill a gap in my own vision relating to content development distribution and publication - and happy to talk privately on that matter in an audiovisual call if anyone on the project management team wants to talk about it - but for now, I'd just appreciate knowing more precisely and clearly what exactly the deal is ... I thought I saw the mention of Stripe there somewhere, and I know from memory that stripe will take something like 30 cents plus 2.75% of the sale, but I don't remember even seeing those details mentioned in your documentation, nor did I see anything about what odysee takes, nor even really a firm commitment in real numbers as to what is being offered per view, just some vague and unclear overview that really didn't give me any idea at all what it amounts to in real money ... so the point is, why would I bother with the effort if I don't know whether those efforts will just be wasted and I'll regret having wasted time on something that wasn't worth the investment of time and other resources ... IN OTHER WORDS AGAIN: you need to think about your site from MY view (the user) NOT from your own view, because I don't care about what you're getting out of it EXCEPT in so far as it may affect what I get out of it ... you follow?

Upload blocked why ?

I try to upload a video. Can you tell me what is blocking the upload, it's annoying to find yourself blocked without knowing why.
Usually it's because of a special character in the URL bar but here I don't understand why.
It would be simpler to have an explanatory error message so as not to get stuck.
