It will be a vague and undescriptive bug report but here I go.
I have kodi running on a rpi3 that I began to monitor its temperature recently.
And just letting the rpi doing nothing but being on the home page of somafm kodi add-on let its cpu temperature rise by 10°C. CPU usage by kodi is not that high at 40% but there is something here.
So today, it stayed at around 80°C because I let somafm add-on running. You can see that it stops at around 20:00
I make a test after that at 21:30 and you can notice the spike there. Just by launching the soma-fm add-on from add-on menu.
So having said that. I know that cpu is there to be used and you can't run things on a cold rpi3.
However it would be nice if some optimization could be done. If the problem is coming from the add-on and not kodi ;-).
I love SomaFM! However, I've tried clearing the cache and removing/reinstalling the add-on, but the new Holiday stations are missing:
Jolly Ol' Soul
Xmas in Frisko
Christmas Rocks!
Christmas Lounge
Thanks!

It appears that SomaFM has updated links to its servers. As a result the plug-in no longer works for any of the SomaFM stations.
Please see: http://somafm.com/ regarding the change.
Thanks,
The plugin produces script errors on Helix ARM and will not play any of the SOMAFM stations. Tried on FireTV, FireStick, and Nexus 10.
