nix-config's Issues

Question: Having `wired` as a service

Hi! I saw that you're using wired as a service.

May I ask how you're doing it?
The README of wired-notify doesn't show how to use the service-variant of wired if you're using flakes and home-manager as a nixos-module.

Question about the topology module and `nodes.*`

I hope this is an appropriate place to ask a question about your repo, if not feel free to close.

I was curious about using microvms for running services and via GH search landed in your repo here.

I notice that in many of your microvm's configs you have a nodes.sentinel attribute that seems to "push" some nginx configuration to a different node entirely.

Could you explain a little bit about how that works at a high level? Are there are any articles on that topic you can reference?

modules/kanidm.nix: oidc?

hi there!
i was reading thru your kanidm module after hearing about it from @Janik-Haag. i see it mentions targeting oauth2. i was wondering, would this also include applications using OpenID Connect (OIDC), given that builds upon oauth2? or would the logic differ for the purpose of this module so far?
thanks!

Question about continuous deployment strategy

Hey there @oddlama !

I actually found your Nix configs after seeing your post (I think on Reddit) regarding your topology module (super cool stuff by the way).

I've been tweaking my own personal configs for quite some time now, but I still haven't found a piece of tooling that I'm happy with for continuous deployment / integration of the machines I manage with Nix.

I saw in the project README your description of how you bootstrap a new machine. However, I was curious if you could share what strategy you're using to re-deploy after tweaking your configs? Specifically, I'm very interested in how you're coordinating builds.

Cheers!
