The depth parameter provides the ''maximum'' depth limit to traverse the tree. Thus, the tree-iterator will always start at the root node and contain it at any set maximum level.

The leaf iterator will contain leafs up the maximum limit, that means nodes that don't have any children ''or are at the specified depth limit'' (this is equivalent to cutting of the tree at the depth limit). The only situation where the root would be traversed by the leaf_iterator is when the tree is empty. Or do you have a way to produce that situation?
