hallo all,
i have code like as follow on my repeater, unfurtunatelly i dont understand how to dynamic change the tile so looks dynamic...could someone help me out? and how to use dynamic tile for static web like below for this command (Appurl & slidesform & Animation Tiles icon)?

I am running droptiles on a localhost server. The droptiles loads but none of the apps show up. The aspx server code loads and I can see the signin page but none of the widgets show up. Rather, this error message shows up. Can Ozabir or someone help me on this? Thanks.

First things first,this framework is really good. :).I was excited to see how it works on my ipad.Your own website droptiles.com doesn't seem to work on IOS6. Can't drag tiles. One more advice, it would be nice if sections have a property like maxHeight after which other section tiles cannot be dragged into this. This will avoid ugly vertical scroll. Thanks !

I noticed that the DropTiles site is on v25 of the Javascript files but this code on GitHub is v13. Any chance of an update?

is it possible that you link to an specific licence, under which the code is published? like a creative commons licence?

i forked your project. but i would like to have clear rules under those i can maintain my project and satisfy your regulates.

When tiles are sorted inside a section and we reload droptiles the sorting isn't saved. The sorting is only saved if we drag a different to a different section.

DropTiles.com works great on ipad, Just need to add this
to make it a fullscreen web clip when added to Home screen

Hi,

I've noticed a random issue when moving tiles for one section to another. It doesn't always happen but after dragging and dropping the tile no longer clicks.

This can be viewed on the droptiles.com site, for example moving the facebook tile from one section to another can cause it not longer to be clickable. You may need to move the tile a number of tiles before this happens. I've tried this with both IE10 and Chrome.

This project is really nice. However, doesn't it violate some Microsoft patents?

This is more of a request than an issue. Is there a built in way that I'm not seeing for pausing or otherwise controlling the sliding animation of a live tile. I'm thinking of a pause feature, or possibly a hover to slide between two slides. Any advice?

In AppCommon.js, the closeApp() function sets the document.location = "/" on line 18. This works fine if Droptiles is installed in the root. But, when I run it in my local dev environment, it uses a url such as "localhost:6643/Droptiles/". I tested by making an install directory variable ("/Droptiles") and using that instead of "/" and it worked.

please let me know how to manage the history so that foward and back button worked

I haven't had time to fully review everything, but is it possible to have a Drag Scroll like the start page in Metro-UI-CSS?

The bottom scroll bar is just like Windows 8 without touch, but I kind of liked having the ability to drag scroll with the mouse.

To be "more portable", this style could have a wrapper for CMS templates, like Joomla, Drupal...
Joomla has the concept of modules, like an app in Droptiles. I think each module could be an app.
So, Droptiles will be better than Joomla paid template BT Metro (http://demo.bowthemes.com/bt-metro/)

Is there a way to link the tiles to Tableau dashboards?

Is there a way to, when the user clicks an app, just resize the app (and open it) instead of occuping all the screen? It's great to keep all app icons visible when using a specific app.
For example, a video player app could show just video titles, and when we click on a title, the video player grows a little to see the video (opening the app, but not fullscreen, just moving and adjusting other app positions).

Another feature is the ability to "close" automatically other opened apps when opening one.

These two features could be disabled to enable default behaviour (fullscreen and don't close automatically). Or better, each app could track its own opening behaviour.
