We saw the rather bad performance numbers of ObjectBox on iOS and as promised tried to reproduce them. However, with iOS 16.3.1 on an iPhone 12 mini we do not get any comparable results.

What we did:

• clone this project and run flutter pub get,
• run the app in release mode using flutter run --release to avoid dev tools influencing results,
• change settings to
  • 10.000 entities (for 1.000 the run times are too low to measure) and
  • "Optimise" turned on (leaving this off uses flawed code as I mentioned),
• then run the benchmark three times and pick the best results.

If you have the time we would welcome you sharing with us how you arrived at those results (e.g. are we missing some settings?).
