Hi there 👋

This is the Github profile for Alexander Cheer (nzgamer41). I hold a BSc(CompSci) from Waikato University, and a Microsoft Office Specialist in Word 2013 qualification. I primarily develop in C#, with some C++ and other similar desktop languages on the side. I have a competent understanding of most programming languages such as Python, JavaScript and Java.

I'm not the most creative person so ideas don't often come naturally to me, but if something interests me I am usually keen to learn and help programming-wise!

TODO: Button mapping

Something that I'd like to have is a way to change button mapping either on the fly or very easily. I notice that the button layout I've chosen currently works for 4 button games, but if you load a game like KoF98 Ultimate Match, you end up having to use R1 as the 4th button since I believe it expects a 6 button input panel but only uses 4.

TODO: Input reading fixes

At the moment some button combinations are impossible, I believe this is due to my slow if-else statement in the report function, so it would be good to fix that so you can do stuff like down and push3 which seem to not work currently.

TODO: Coin input

For whatever reason, Coins don't seem to work at the moment. A workaround is to use the Service button to insert a service coin (R2 with default mapping) but that isn't ideal for the long run. Would like to have coins actually work.
