Thanks for the report! I've currently been working on a rewrite of decancer, but i'm sorry it has been severely delayed because of school problems, please be patient!

First impression, now you can import in Node. (not only require as before I think)
Second: the error about typing was gone when using import
Lastly, you need to use decancer(str).toString()

It works as expected. thanks a lot !
