I'm not good with zsh syntax but if I get it right $+commands[pnpm] evaluates to 1 and thus !1 should skip the if statement?

Using pnpm globally requires it to be in the $PATH.

Running pnpm setup does the trick by adding the following to one's local config:

export PNPM_HOME="/Users/designorant/Library/pnpm"
case ":$PATH:" in
  *":$PNPM_HOME:"*) ;;
  *) export PATH="$PNPM_HOME:$PATH" ;;
esac

but this could likely be configured out of the box a similar way that yarn.plugin.zsh does it.

I'd like to add this to awesome-zsh-plugins, but it doesn't have a license file.
