Tooltips work fine in standalone mode but when embedded in a shiny app or rmd their positioning is bad. I need to change the this.mouseRaw.{x,y} to get data from event.client{X,Y} instead of .offset{X,Y} I think.

Potentially to speed up raycasting we could make a separate mesh for the nodes that are selectable. This would mean that if only 5 nodes out of 10k are interactive the raycaster doesn't go looking at every 10k + 5 nodes to see if it was intersected.
