Clone the code

Create a new database in MySQL

Create .env file from .env.example template

cp .env.example .env

Open .env file and fill in the database connection details

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=
DB_USERNAME=
DB_PASSWORD=

install composer dependencies

composer install

Migrate database schema

php artisan migrate

generate a new encryption key

php artisan key:generate

Start the server

php artisan serve
