EADAS

This is a ECE-511 project code repository. EADAS stands for: Elderly Asset Distress Alarm System.

The objective of the system is to detect distress. Defined as a fall, or a rapid increase in heartrate. When a distress is detected, an alert is dispatched to a preconfigured telephone number via SMS. The components of the system are as follows: TI Launchpad MSP430FR6989 LSM9DS0 - Gyro/accelerometer Powerboost 1000C - rechargable power management board FONA808 - SMS/GPS module SEN-11574 - Pulse sensor 3x4 matrix keypad
