  • Live weather on the homepage via OpenWeather API.
  • Schedule synced in real time for sudden changes or updates.
  • Location data synced in real time from a Firebase Database to account for weather-induced location changes.
  • An annotated map with location search support.
  • News feed section ("International Press") that hosts articles written by the attendees (pushed live to Firebase from a locked portal).
  • Awards section that functions like the articles page (realtime updated from Firebase).
  • Image caching throughout the app for higher network effeciency and a better browsing experience.
  • Loading animations on all pages for smooth navigation and usage.
