I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the subdomain "leipzig.nix.ug" for hosting a website and carrying out other projects.

I have been following the development of the nix.ug repository and I believe it would be a great opportunity to have a subdomain for the city of Leipzig. This would allow me to create a website that would showcase various projects and initiatives within the community.

I understand that the decision to grant a subdomain is ultimately up to the maintainers of the repository. However, I would like to offer my services in exchange for the subdomain. I am willing to contribute to the nix.ug project and help with any maintenance or development tasks as needed.

Presently, the NUGS are displayed as a single group (see below). Would it not be better to group them? Say, as North America, Europe, Asia, etc.

The website for the Hamburg UG seems to be broken.

First its certificate is for the wrong subject.

If one continues anyway, one is redirect to a login page https://cloud.srx.dev/login

@sourceindex as they created the PR adding it.

@MatthewCroughan do you have any process about that? Perhaps additional contact information than just what is in the nix-file?

In the upper left there is a link/button to add a new event/UG. This link seems to be broken, as the fragment does not point to the correct heading:

Note that there's also a pretty big event listing on https://nixos.org/community/, though it's not very nice (ideally I'd like to see a world map with all the meeting points!). Are you maybe interested in working on improving this on the homepage directly? https://github.com/NixOS/nixos-homepage
