Is the site running on the rebase/settings branch?

Weird. Mine isn't consistently using any CPU. Although, it is using more memory.

This was after running all day without a refresh. Also it's my old fork, but I bet we have the same issue on master.

Getting things setup to test that tonight with both master and rebase/settings

I can't reproduce this. I ran Chrome from 1:30am - 8am and here are the results. Could the problem be an extension?

Stayed up for me since last night for me also using the rebase\settings. I was also using ?mute=true, I'm wondering if it's the alarm that causes the problem?

I'll test tonight without ?mute=false

Maybe #29 is the solution?

from cgm-remote-monitor.

brianhanifin avatar brianhanifin commented on May 13, 2024

Ooooh. Yeah, I didn't even think of that. I did use mute=true. If the alarm is the problem, that was a damn lucky way to find the leak! LOL!

As you may already realize there isn't really ?mute=false logic. But, hey, knock your socks off. ;)

Meant to write mute=trueabove, so I'll just test without the mute param

Was fine last night with alarms not getting cleared and without mute=true

Oops. I didn't submit this comment last night. I am including it because it was interesting.

Here is the same tab 22.5 hours later.

There is no cpu usage issue, but the memory usage has doubled.

I've never developed a webpage that acts this much like an app. Is there something we should to to manage memory better?
