Based on your comments in #7 I assume Dashboard won't be around much longer, at least in its current state. In 10.10 we have the revamped Notification Center which allows custom views.

Not sure if the Dark Sky folks have something planned, but if not maybe an OSX app would be a good next step for a project like this, with custom views in Notification Center.

Something at DarkSky (former forecast.io) apparently has changed and the widget stays blank. Any chance for making it work again?

The first time I installed this I was a little confused as to why pressing return in the location field wasn't pre-filling the lat/long inputs.

A short-term solution would be to indicate they're required and rename the location field something like a "label".

I created a second instance of the widget to have 2 locations open at once, but after refreshing dashboard both widgets show the new location.

I was wondering if you could add support for the optional parameters from forecast.io
For example, I live in Canada so I much prefer using celsius and km/h. I tried adding the proper code to the iframe html file but it didn't seem to work.

Whenever I reboot, the location becomes Downtown Boston. However, when I go to set the location, all the correct info is there. When I hit "Done," the correct location and information loads.

I don't know what the dashboard APIs look like right now, but it would be awesome if I could set the widget to just use my laptop's location.

When I click on "More at Forecast.io," or a weather advisory, nothing happens. The former should take me to http://forecast.io, and the latter should take me to the advisory on http://www.noaa.gov.

This widget makes Dashboard use 40-50% CPU. I'm running a mid-2010 MacBook Pro with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5 (dual core with 4 threads).
