thx for publishing ASN1Kit. I'm currently re-working a DER-En-/Decoder-Kit. It's a older java-project that i cloned/hacked/ported/u name it to scala. I liked their ideas - to make ASN.1 as easy to use as possible. The concepts are described in this PDF from 200? [http://codec.sourceforge.net/CodecTutorial.pdf]. My focus is use scala's features to gain a little more brevity in expressing ASN1-structures and simply a bit further (immutabillity included, etc) :) Right now i'm looking for a test-suite to check the quality of the DER-Decoder. As a start i use the JVM's trust-anchors, but i don't expect any edge-cases here. So i'm in a early stage, but i want to finish&publish it, as soon as the code was proofed to work. So my motto here is "less code doing more" and some good docs/tests/examples that make it easy for others to use it. What materials did u use to check the BER-implementation in ASN1-Kit ?
