PSQL Projects

These projects are no longer maintained or supported. They're here only for viewing purposes.

This repository contains all the projects that were completed for the Databases course of the Department of Computer Science of the Athens University of Economics and Business, during the Spring semester of 2019-2020.

A remote database via Amazon AWS was created in order to complete these assignments. Alternatively a local database can be created for these projects to be tested. PostgreSQL and pgAdmin were used.

Requirements

  1. Dataset
    1. Αirbnb dataset (needed for Αssignments 2-6)
    2. Μovies dataset (needed for the final Project)
  2. PostgreSQL for SQL queries
  3. pgAdmin (GUI)
  4. Draw.io for creating ER Diagrams
  5. gen_ddl_python3.py to auto-generate table creation sql scripts
