About

Netsil Application Operations Center (AOC) is a next-gen observability and analytics tool for modern cloud applications. The Netsil AOC helps SREs and DevOps improve the reliability and performance of API and microservices-driven production applications.

At the heart of the AOC is an auto-discovered service topology map. It visualizes service dependencies and operational metrics so practitioners can work collaboratively across teams.

Introduction

Installation is done in two parts: Netsil AOC and the Netsil Collectors.

The collectors are installed on your application instances (VMs or containerized environments) and mirror the service interactions & metrics back to Netsil AOC for real-time analysis.

You may install the collectors in a variety of environments, independent of the AOC environment. For instance, you may run the AOC as a standalone docker container, but install the collectors in Kubernetes.

Test collector.yaml on a kubernetes server < 1.6

To test on kubernetes < 1.6, click on "Connect" on "cluster-1" here: https://console.cloud.google.com/kubernetes/list?project=netsil-dev
Follow kubectl/gcloud instructions.

If the collector.yaml just prints a warning, then it's probably okay to leave it like this.

If it fails, then maybe we can have two collector.yaml files, one for < 1.6, one for >= 1.6, and make a note in the documentation about it (https://docs.netsil.com/setup-guide/collectors/k8s/)

Copy error? Kubernetes config map for Riak contains shell prompt line

Since component files within the configmap kubernetes/configmaps/auto-configmap.yml appear to contain YAML, I assume they should all be valid YAML.

On line 111, you'll see:

kubernetes yaml installation. Login prompt configuration error

There is an error when the installation is complete

Install by kubernetes apply-f netsil.yml

The container creates and runs the figure

kubernetes svc configuration is also normal

But the page login installation error
