After starting ST2 I got bad graphical issues. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24391334/screenshots/screenshot_20130812-%2085024.png
If I delete the phoenix-theme the graphic problems are gone. Anyone any idea?
I'm running Sublime Text 2.0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04. After installing and enabling Phoenix, I still get the old "classic" tabs, and the dirty bottom bar and highlight on current tab aren't displayed.
The problem persists after restarting Sublime Text.
These are the user settings I'm using:
{
"color_scheme": "Packages/Theme - Phoenix/Color Scheme/Phoenix Dark Orange.tmTheme",
"dictionary": "Packages/Language - English/en_GB.dic",
"ensure_newline_at_eof_on_save": true,
"trim_trailing_white_space_on_save": false,
"font_face": "Meslo LG S DZ",
"font_size": 9,
"phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar_orange": true,
"phoenix_highlight_current_tab": true,
"ignored_packages":
[
"Vintage"
]
}
and the packages I have installed are:
"Alignment",
"BracketHighlighter",
"Case Conversion",
"ChangeQuotes",
"Clipboard History",
"Codeigniter Codeintel Helper",
"DetectSyntax",
"DocBlockr",
"Git",
"GitGutter",
"KeymapManager",
"Package Control",
"Prefixr",
"SublimeLinter",
"Theme - Phoenix",
"TrailingSpaces",
"Xdebug"
Love the theme! Any plans to support ST3?
Sublime Build 3065 introduced the ability to have sidebar icons (changelog). This causes Phoenix to display duplicate folder icons:
Phoenix should now use ST3's built in sidebar icon functionality.
It would be nice if the Text would be aligned with its parent folder:
It looks like the Light Color Schemes are missing. All I see are dark options.
Fantastic looking theme!

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted and every combination of that, but I can't seem to get the editor to look proper. Not sure how to fix this or maybe I'm setting something wrong.
indication is quite subtle compared to bottom bar especially with solid color tabs enabled.
Could we have an option to show them for all tabs not only the inactive ones?
Can i change color for inactive tab texts?
The Light Blue variant nicely complements the Blue
appearance setting in the OS X Finder.
Would be nice to have a Light Graphite option to match the colors & gradients of the OS X Graphite
appearance (or adjust the colors in Light Dark Blue accordingly).
Hi! Great theme. Having a few issues on Sublime 3. The following options no longer appear to work:
"phoneix_color_blue": true, // or any other color
"phoenix_color_expanded_folder": true,
"phoenix_highlight_current_tab": true,
The following do work, quite pleasantly:
"phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar": true,
"phoenix_eighties": true,
Thanks for the theme! Hope this is an easy fix.
Standard theme has it but none of custom themes do. Is it possible to enable this feature?
How do I do it? Can't find color schemes folder anywhere. I'm on mac...
Would be great if quick panel selected match could be colorized based on color style when using the Light theme.
I just installed Phoenix, but the editor is still using Monokai as the color scheme. Even after removing the configuration setting for it. I want to use the default Dark Theme colors, but can't get it to work correctly. Using ST 2.0.2.
Thank you!
Hi,
I love the phoenix theme in general and I would also love to use the matching color schemes (pink in my case).
However while they look fine in your screenshots they are mostly useless for anything other than HTML/CSS/JS/PHP. It appears the highlights are generally chosen to apply only to the syntax tags of these languages instead of matching the more generous groups they belong to.
To get an impression of what I'm pointing at try to open a C source file or even a simple JSON and set the theme to phoenix pink or yellow - not a pleasant experience..
Pretty please - make it awesome for us "old school" coders too!!!
Hi,
when on the Light scheme using blue or darkblue, I do not get a 'dirty' bullet point on the Tab when editing a file, instead it stays on 'x'.
Light without color works!
Specifically it is the "selected edited" state! If I tab away I get 'dirty' bullet point.
Using the theme completly broke console syntax highlighting.
E.g. I'v tried to use the one from Kronuz Theme. With default Sublime Theme it's working. But when activating yours got no highlighting in the console.
This bug is triggered when phoenix is configured with:
"phoenix_sidebar_tree_xsmall": true
When there are multiple folders in the sidebar list, clicking the folder icon opens the folder above the one it should. Clicking the folder name opens the correct one. I tested small and normal settings and they both work properly when you click on the folder icon.
On my 64 bit ST3, when I install this via package control the light themes are not available in the list of options in the colour schemes. Only the dark themes are available. How can I get the light themes?
All of the images on the domain appear to be broken links.
Can you add some file icons for the sidebar. This feature was introduced in Dev 3062.
I talked about how to do this here.
I know this is a small problem, but it's kind of annoying. The preview images are not showing for me.
Would be nice to have a Tab Style option with two alternate UI tab styles: a square tab or classic tab just like on Soda Theme.
It looks like some syntax coloring broke in the last commit for the Tomorrow-Night color scheme.
For example: HAML and HTML:
It doesn't seem to have affected any other languages but I remember seeing some beautiful red in the theme (especially for all the HTML elements) before the commit. Everything turned a little too gray here and there. Is it possible to change it back?
Cant seem to get it to work with any of the colors.
It would be great if the configuration options could be grouped under a single object like:
"phoenix" : {
"color_blue": true,
"phoenix_highlight_current_tab": true
}
Can we get thinner options for the dirty bottom bar colors?
I went in and added two more classes myself, phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar_red_extra_thin
and phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar_red_thin
which pointed to duplicated PNG files which I quickly edited to drop the dirty bottom bar thickness down...The "extra thin" being only 1px tall or 2px with the @2x files.
I did NOT do a great job editing the PNG files and made the background gray flat (more eighties style like) instead of carefully adding the subtle shade to it. So it doesn't really match. It's not perfect and I only did it for the red color for my needs.
Otherwise, I'd submit a pull request. I just did this real quick and already spent 3 hours tonight customizing Sublime Text so I really do need to get back to work =)
Just a suggestion. IF I get some time, I can work on it and submit back to the project. I'd be more than happy. If I get some time and if there's interest for this.
The end result is a much more subtle red line for edited file tabs that are not in focus. I think it looks a bit nicer being more discrete. Red is a pretty powerful color. I may not like it thin in other colors...
there is comma at the end of array:
1600 {
1601 "class": "icon_folder_loading",
1602 "content_margin": [0,0]
1603 },
1604
1605 ]
which breaks the Sublime
Hey guys, loaded up sublime today and both themes appear to be visually broken, getting the following error
Error trying to parse file: Trailing comma before closing bracket ... Phoenix Light.sublime-theme:1605:1
, same error in dark: ...Phoenix Dark.sublime-theme:2180:1
Looks like it happened in the latest commit
Removing the last comma seemed to work for me.
Cheers
Doesn't seem to do anything for Light theme. Only works for Dark theme.
I just installed this from ST2 Package manager and can't seem to find any Phoenix Light color schemes.
I have checked in the menu at: Preferences -> Color Sheme -> Theme - Phoenix
I have also checked in the Phoenix theme directory: Sublime Text 2/Packages/Theme - Phoenix/*
.
In the Sublime Text 2/Packages/Theme - Phoenix/Color Scheme
directory I see all the Phoenix Dark themes, but no Phoenix Light themes. Am I missing them, or do they not (yet) exist?
I just found this theme a few days ago and am loving it! However, no matter what combination of settings I try, I can get the dirty state to show on the selected tab when I'm using the Light mode. Non-active tabs switch from the "x" to a dot when there are unsaved changes (as normal), but as soon as I select a tab it switches back to the "x". Would there be a way to keep the dot, even when the tab is active? Apart from that, this is by far the best theme I have tried.
All the images in the repo are returning 404 errors. For example:
Happening on both pages:
https://github.com/netatoo/phoenix-theme
http://netatoo.github.com/phoenix-theme/
We miss our images!
I don't think that the theme is currently being maintained but I just wanted to register this issue for other users known.
The theme is fantastic but doesn't have the issue solved like it was mostly done by Soda.
How to adjust the Sidebar Font size , please?
Maybe because I'm on Winblows...but I have the following in my user prefs:
{
"color_scheme": "Packages/Theme - Phoenix/Color Scheme/Phoenix Dark Orange - Eighties.tmTheme",
"phoenix_color_expanded_folder": true,
"phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar": true,
"phoenix_dirty_bottom_bar_orange": true,
"phoenix_eighties": true,
"phoenix_highlight_current_tab": true,
"phoenix_solid_current_tab": true,
"phoenix_sidebar_tree_small": true,
"phoenix_tabs_auto_width": true,
"theme": "Phoenix Dark.sublime-theme",
"word_wrap": "true"
}
And I get nothing for a tab color...just the default ugly gray. I do get the bottom bar for dirty tabs though... :(
Just reporting...
If "show_tab_close_buttons": false
automatic width tabs will not work properly.
