The router doesn't support
HEADrequests, likely for integration with a CDN it is required. -
The file system notification doesn't seem like a good idea for the reasons above. The contents of the server should be manipulated via HTTP REST requests.

nscsimply needs to generate a server config file (useful for everyone) that provides operator JWT and system account, and system user creds file. With that information you could run it, and simply use nsc commands to update the contents of the server.
