atom-one-dark-terminal's Issues

Include instructions for changing syntax colors

Since Terminal profiles only set the available colors for Terminal to choose from, could you include whatever ~/.profile and other changes you made to achieve the screenshots in the README? For example, your name is colored at the beginning of each line and the ls output has syntax highlighting.

Thanks for the themes! I'm using Atom's shortcuts and themes whenever possible on my computer.

Interferes with normal behavior of man

Hello!

Kudos on this great product, first of all.

Issue:

While this theme is active, doing $ man [anything], for example, no longer behaves as normal. That is, when I q out of the man view, the contents stay on the terminal instead of flushing out, as it should.

There's a mother bug, that I don't know how to describe (I can upload a video if necessary). Characters get stuck. It happens when I'm scrolling up or down the history with the up and down keys. Then, seemingly at random, some of the characters from that history will remain at the command line, but you can't erase them by pressing backspace. It's just part of the terminal, now. I'm hoping these two bugs are related.

EDIT: So I did some troubleshooting, and it's not at random. The characters get stuck when the number of characters input is >= 32. So if I type in wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (31 w's), I won't have ghost w's in the prompt. But if I type in wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (32 w's), it'll leave the ghost w's.

This is on Terminal macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 (17E202)

Unverified release?!

Hello,

I wonder, if it is safe to download the latest version. I noticed a warning message on the releases page for the last few releases (the earlier / initial releases were okay). Please see the screenshot below to understand what I am talking about...

Theme colors not changing text

Hi @nathanbuchar:

I have imported your theme as is into my terminal and made sure it was the default theme for it. Though having done so and that the color in the preferences did load, the terminal window though being the right dark hue only shoes grey text #ABB2BF.

Does this theme require a specific shell or extra configs or fonts?

Thank you for your help.

Enabling Colors

I can't seem to be able to enable the colors on the terminal despite following the instructions

Can't type caracter `~`

Hello !

When i try to type the character ~ with alt+n. The terminal insert a semicolon ;

I switched back to the Mac default white terminal theme, the tilde character works as expected with alt+n

Do you have an idea why ?

No v1.0.1 for iTerm

Hi Nathan,

First of all thanks for working on that, I really like One dark theme on Atom and I wanted the same look n' feel for iTerm. I wasn't able to find the latest version (1.0.1) for iTerm but I'm using 1.0.0 by now. Just wanted to report that.

Thanks again.

Alberto

Cmder

Please create a Cmder variant. A lot of Windows users would appreciate.

Having Trouble With Colors

When I import the *.terminal file into terminal preferences, all I see in the shell window is a light blue font over a gray background.

Do you know why none of the colors are working?

Update Readme for Catalina

The latest macOS Catalina now uses Zsh by default so the Readme should be updated with a note on the command required for Catalina.

echo -e '\n# Add colors to Terminal\nexport CLICOLOR=1\nexport LSCOLORS=GxFxCxDxBxegedabagaced' >> ~/.zhrc

Colors in mc

Is there any way to make mc colors better for this theme?

Colors do not work

I am using mac terminal under zsh and I followed all the color enabling commands. However, when I launch the One dark theme by clicking on the package .terminal file, colors are not enabled.

useOptionAsMetaKey

useOptionAsMetaKey = true With this non default setting, when the @ sign is written, the terminal suddenly close.

cap 1

cap

Option+Q = @
Command+Q = Quit

it should be useOptionAsMetaKey = false

Add Support for Nova (Panic's Coda Replacement)

One Dark is a fantastic theme, and enjoy using it in Terminal, Atom, and other places. Panic's Coda is being replaced by Nova which is currently in beta and accepting Theme and Extension submissions. Would love to see this ported for Nova as well.

Blackness

I run npm install frequently, and it looks like this:

However, I would expect it to look like this:

Colors not chosen appropriately

This hurts my eyes

The text color shouldn't be so dull, it should be a little brighter

Another place this could be improved is parameters

Colors?

How do I get the text color to work in terminal?
