Initiallly created January 2023 when the Fourier transform and this spectrogram app https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/spectrogram/ were mentioned in class and I wanted a very visceral demonstration of the math.

Simple python notebook to encode images in sound files using an inverse fourier transform

• Currently working through formalizing this as a more robust script.
• The numpy version "Image2Sound.py" is currently in a basic working state, but I need to add command line arguments to specify the target input/output. This is currently hard coded in the script.
• Working through finishing the torch version of the script. currently correcting some of the warping operations which allow for the image to correctly fit inside the transformed output spectrum.

Disclaimer:: This was designed specifically for use with https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/spectrogram/ and thus will likely not display with proper proportions out of the box on other spectrograms.
