Raup Crick dissimilarity and betaRC value

Hey @aammd

I am using the Raup Crick function, and I was wondering if you could help me understand the results?

When I run the function, I get a dissimilarity matrix (as expected) ranging from -1 to 1.
I am interested in comparing it with a null model using oecosimu() function in Vegan R package.

a) I get a z.value matrix and p-values for each simulation. I am interested in getting a measure of the community is significantly different from the null-model or not.
b) If the difference is mediated by environmental effect, would an adonis() help?
c) I have come across betaRC estimation in literature. Any suggestions on how that is calculated?

Do you have any suggestions?
