Time is always showing a minute late from the real time. What is going on with time?
Not necessarily something that needs changing in the repo but I'd like to get rid of it just for myself and not sure what to change
mb add some spec format for copying
It would be amazing to get access to google calendar events and a small popup form to add them too. :) I would love to help too. Is there a recommended way to get started?
ps: I love this utility ❤️

Maybe also use the locales from Moment.js for Pikaday?
Preferences.load()
or .set()
should merge current dataset with new one. Otherwise new default values will get lost when loading old preferences from disk.
That would be:
Hi there! I have just discovered Timestamp and I absolutely love it.
I would like to ask whether it could be considered a future feature to add events of a specific week connected to the calendar.
Cheers and keep up the good work!
In the dropdown menu I guess you have full HTML/CSS flexibility as it seems in
timestamp/app/components/calendar/calendar-today.html
My question: Can you also use full HTML/CSS layout (and as such custom smaller font size or a two row layout to condense information) in the part which is always visible (the menu item itself) ?
Or do you need to use macOS layouting capabilities there? Could the forementioned layout be achieved with it? Or does macOS put tougher restrictions on you there like one font size throughout the entire menu bar?
Since Electron doesn't provide a way to have a tray without an icon (see electron/issues/1553 and even with an empty image as icon, there still is this empty gap), there could be a chance to achieve the same effect with using the icon as the actual label.
Many, especially in Australia, regard Sunday as the first day of the week, and all of our calendars display accordingly.
Is it possible to (optionally) do this on the timestamp app?
Brilliant app, by the way.
If the intention is to mimic/improve on Day-O you should also consider app size. Day-O comes in just under 9mb whereas Timestamp is almost 130mb.
Drop the standard macOS about dialog and replace it with a shiny custom window.
Congrats on your first Electron app! I see this in the README:
customizable date/time display
But I don't see how to customize anything. Is that enabled yet?
Hi, love this app and use it daily.
Recently, I was on a trip to another timezone and for a bit was confused because Timestamp was still showing me EDT instead of PDT. There didn't seem to be a good way to update it. Eventually, I thought about restarting the app and that worked.
Would be nice if Timestamp could detect the timezone change and update accordingly (or ask the user whether to update).
Clicking on a date should open the native macOS Calendar app with the clicked date preselected. Also provide an option to turn off this behaviour.
Tasks:
It would be great to be able to see the current time in other timezones (like UTC)
it would be great to make this application installable through brew cask to make it much easier to manage.
cheers!
😄
I have checked the "Start at Login" in the Preferences but it won't start automatically.
Request: also show the week numbers (optionally) in the calendar.
On secondary monitor the calendar is displayed lower that normal.
See this photo.
Currently if you are viewing a different month and you hide the calendar, when toggling back to visible, the state is where you left off. I find this is a hindrance as generally (at least for me), when I click to show the calendar, I'm curious about the current month.
Willing to add some initial spectrum support. Would a PR for that be welcome?
