To address this challenge, the Electric Circuit Design Lab Simulation project was conceived as part of IIT Roorkee Virtual Lab's initiative to enhance engineering education through technology. The project aims to create interactive simulations that allow students to explore and experiment with electric circuits, offering a virtual environment where they can gain practical experience without the limitations of physical lab setups. Objectives The primary objective of the Electric Circuit Design Lab Simulation project is to develop a series of educational simulations that illustrate key electrical engineering concepts. These simulations are designed to be accessible to students from various departments, providing a platform for them to experiment with circuit designs and observe the effects of different configurations in real-time. Specific objectives of the project include:

  7. Sensor and Timer Integration: Simulations that incorporate proximity sensors and timer circuits to demonstrate automated control of DC loads.

These frameworks offer a range of pre-designed components and utilities that streamline the development process and ensure a consistent design aesthetic. • Bootstrap: Bootstrap's grid system and pre-designed components were used to create a responsive layout that adjusts to different screen sizes. The framework's utility classes simplified the styling process, allowing for quick and efficient design adjustments. • TailwindCSS: TailwindCSS's utility-first approach provided greater flexibility in styling, enabling the customization of design elements to match the project's unique aesthetic. The framework's modular nature allowed for the efficient application of styles, ensuring a clean and maintainable codebase. Together, Bootstrap and TailwindCSS contributed to the creation of a polished and responsive user interface, enhancing the overall user experience.

Experiment 1: To operate DC and AC load with Push to ON & OFF Switch and a Switching Relay

This basic operation demonstrates the fundamental concept of controlling electrical loads with a switch. Experiment 2: To operate DC and AC load with Push to ON & OFF switch and a Switching Relay with holding circuit
