delete MuseScore 4 folder with its contents
To clarify, this is about the one in C:\Program Files, and not the one containing user scores etc.
from musescore.
MuseScore also keeps data in Local
and Roaming
folders of user profile.
Should there be an option to purge this data too?
from musescore.
Nope. User can do it with Revert to factory settings

It is too late to revert after uninstaller had run.
The idea is to remove all user data in case no reinstall was planned.

Reverting to factory settings should be an option on installing/uninstalling MuseScore, maybe even ticked by default (I'd rather not), but not being forced upon the user

Feel free to open a feature request (or even better, a pull request) for that.
