Hey! This is my personal website.

I used to have a very complicated javascript website but now it's a less complicated static thing built with python.

Building

Create a virtual environment (venv) for installing the libraries locally.

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

Make sure you have markdown, frontmatter and Pillow installed.

pip install markdown python-frontmatter Pillow

Generate the thumbnails:

python generate_thumbnails.py

Generate html pages:

python generate_pages.py

Deploy

aws s3 sync ./ s3://www.murilopolese.com/ --exclude '.*' --exclude './venv' --acl public-read

Extension Icon

I am not sure why and where is this information but the extension icons works only for the browser action. When listed with the others extensions, didn't have a nice and fancy icon...

Change the click/doubleclick user experience

It would be perfect if just hover the element was enough to add the blue hover class.
The problem is if you use mouseover, mouseenter or hover jquery method, when you hover an item inside other, the external still with the hovered state.
Another and much more complicated problem is that sometimes you enter/hover an internal element at the same time that your parent element. in this cases, both stay hovered and cause a visual bug.

Toggle Hover Class

Sadly we can't unselect the item. When we select other item it exchange the hover class.
