This is a great addon, but for some reason (I think after a recent Firefox update) it does not function if I start Firefox with a Private Window unless I already have a normal window open. This issue is happening on Firefox 50.1.0 on Ubuntu. Also, opening a normal window afterwards does not resolve the problem until I close and reopen the private one.
Hi, I am suffering browser hijack (try to visit one page and get redirected to another). I only have 3 add-ons installed, including Tab-Wheel-Scroll which I love, so just wanted to see if there's any way this is a problem with the add-on or it's with my network. Those three add-ons are:
LastPass
AdBlock Plus (tried with other ad-blocker and same things happen, so I guess not their problem)
Tab-Wheel-Scroll
So just wanted to ask, has there been any change recently to the published version and how can I check/validate it? Most likely option is my router/hotel is doing it but I wanted to make sure this add-on is safe.
When i use my touchscreen to scroll in the page, it create a imaginary cursor to smooth the scroll when i remove my finger and this make switch tab with this addon.
I really don't want to have to resort to X11-based "capture mouse input between these window-relative X and Y offsets if Firefox is in the active window class, then inject fake Ctrl[+Shift]+Tab keypresses" hackery to keep my muscle memory happy when that happens.
Hi I upgraded Firefox Developer Edition from 47 to 48 this morning and my tab wheel scroll stopped working :( any chance you can test it out with this version and see what's up?
I am not using multi process mode by the way, if that makes any difference.
Hello, currently there is a troublesome behavior, usually, as in the example below:
when scrolling (without plugin), this act on the scrollbar, instead of changing tab, it's possible to have an option to retrieve this behavior, and have that change tab only if there is not possible to scroll?
Tab-Wheel-Scroll use to have a 1:1 scroll wheel ratio.
eg:
One scroll wheel ratchet = one tab change.
Now it appears to use scroll acceleration, and you have to flick the scroll wheel fast and short and get lucky if you scroll one tab. Or scroll very slow for many ratchets before it switches just one tab. Most of the time it just zooms past the tab I want.
