community_calendar's Introduction

This is a community calendar program.  Its purpose: To make it easy
to input, store, edit, and deliver out (in a variety of formats) events
of interest to Chicago's activist community in the style of the New
World Resource Center's events calendar.

Installation is easy: Place the two files in a directory on a web server
that has Python >= 2.6.

A community_calendar.db (sqlite3) is automatically generated.

* To view entries in text format:

http://www.yourserver.com/yourdirectory/community_calendar.py?a=text

* To add in new entries:

http://www.yourserver.com/yourdirectory/community_calendar.py?a=input
