I really like how the icons in the favorites the icons turn into just blocks with text inside of them.

What I'd like to see is also have the same functionality in the app drawer in a list. So instead of apps with their icons, it would be list of similar blocks with text. I think icons can be distracting so this would make it more clear for me what I'm looking for. :)

It would be nice if there was an option to reverse the sort order of the favourites on the homescreen

I have my phone in grayscale mode, but the favourites have different shades of gray because the app icons they're inheriting colours from are all different, so they look a bit weird. It'd be nice to have an option to just have the same colour for all the favourites.

it would be nice if tapping the clock on the home screen would open the default clock app, or even better, let the user choose which app for themselves. minimalist phone does this (lets the user choose).

1. Be able to choose color for each favorite app.
2. Be able to change name for each favorite(still have original name in drawer).
3. Change favorite alignment(like for the clock, left, center, right).
4. Run app when clicking on the clock(alarm app).
5. More flexibility changing favorite app order and sizing(how much blank space for each favorite).
6. When you reorder favorites in preview mode you get two favorites in one line but at the end there is three favorites.

Add option to set 12 hour clock with AM/PM

really love the app so far, after the newest update it's been fantastic! currently, it's a bit annoying reordering favourites, since you can't move just one app, but rather have to swap two apps. it'd be easier if you could drag and drop any app, like on a normal home screen.

Hey! I just found Focus Launcher and it looks really cool; I think it could help me avoid some of the distractions that are easy to fall into.

There's just one thing that might stop me from using it as my main launcher. I use a todo list app that has an Android widget, and I keep the default home screen of my phone taken up mostly by the agenda view of my todo list. Focus Launcher has some of its own widgets, but it doesn't seem to support the native Android ones, so I can't replicate this workflow here.

I think it would be useful if Focus Launcher supported native widgets to enable things like this!

is it possible to make the favourites to ignore current icon theme.

Motivation: I love Arcticons Dark, it's s great uniform icon theme. Howevr, if I apply it, te favourites all become dull grey, since they inherit the color from the icon theme. I'd like an option switch to ignore the icon theme and inherit the colors from originyl icons.

it would be nice if you could open the search page for the web browser from the launcher. ive Heard that android doesnt have a standard intent for this sort of thing. if so, this might be a bit more tricky to do. but it would be super useful.

sorry if I've missed something, but I see no reason why this app would be missing from the list. I am running the latest version from Google play. just started using the app.

update: found out there was a newer version on f-droid, updated, but the problem persists.

In the comments they gave some advice, maybe it will help you too.

if you disable the search bar while a query is entered, only those apps will show. so the app only hides the bar, and does not clear the query.

love the app so far, hoping this is useful.

Textual+graphical apps list, laucher. Really cool idea. I used text based laucher for some time and it was really needed.

I found your, "disable satus bar" option interesting. Only your app offer this!(i tried almost all the lauchers in fdroid). btw i have also had my status bar disabled!

here i go with my suggestion!- (opinion perhaps). Throw them or whatever you wish :)

1. Graphical app list interface feels really slowish, sluggish, stuck-ky and not so good in finger. if you are okay with and also It may save your time, if you incorporate amir's shade launcher code for your graphical interface. It will be really smooth.

2. instead of swipe right -> graphical app lists interface. You may add a textual interface here for "Grouped Apps". A box or like so shape. Inside it, names of all the apps the user added. Also visiable gap/margin around the box shape to make the interface cool and different.

i have 4pdf apps. i grouped them. something like this for a organization section in the textual interface.

I would have started using this app as my daily launcher. i liked it a lot, thats writing so much unlike how issues are written in github!!! . However need a graphical interface and the current interface of this app is really feels stuck-ky or something like this..,...

I would recommend adding an amoled black dark theme in order to better optimize battery consumption

When enabling the status bar the clock gets cut off. What's weird about this is that when the status bar is disabled the clock moves down so that it would not have been cut off. When using the 'Enable Clock 24' feature the clock disappears entirely. Both return to the normal position after a while but this is not reliable. This was experienced on the latest f-droid release.

Research on how Icon packs are to be integrated

It would be great if you could optionally protect the settings with a password or with a biometric feature.

General stability of the launcher is pretty bad right now. It dies pretty often, sometimes several times in a row. Realme Tab Mini, Android 11.
