Instead of immediately shutting down, the shutdown button should bring up an overlay prompt to match the original screen.

The original screen behavior is shown below:

Upon signing in and the welcome message appearing, an error shows up and I cannot log in.

i like this theme very much

it would make everyday use easier though if i was able to enter the password input field by pressing ENTER or TAB
not sure how in detail it would work with multiple users

also when in the password field or the shutdown menu it would be nice to be able to go back by pressing ESC

If I use the default theme (gruvbox) all the sessions start correctly; However, if I try to use this theme or the simple theme, the error

"LightDM couldn't start session
The provided session: "ubuntu" couldn't be started
Session returned error code 1"

shows up.
Then, if I try to load the default theme using the button provided in the error, it becomes unable to start up any session.

This is how my /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf looks like:

[SeatDefaults]
user-session=xfce
greeter-session=nody-greeter

But the error message doesn't change even if I try to change the user-session value to the .desktop file name of the other ones I have installed. What should I do?

this theme look like really cool and I want to use it on my old laptop. But after installing and reboot it stops on this:

When an incorrect password is entered, the text in the password field should be cleared for convenience.
This would also bring the behavior more in-line with the true Windows XP login screen.

Hi, I'm using Debian 12 with xfce and I installed nody-greeter, it worked the first time I installed it with its default theme, but once I installed the WelcomeXP theme I can't login anymore, the greeter shows and the theme is perfect, but when I enter the password nothing happens.
when I run

nody-greeter --debug

The original login screen aligns content near the top of the footer.

Need to fix inconsistencies in password entry button spacing and drop-shadow:

• Need to move password entry button further away from prompt.
• Need to add drop shadow to button.

Need to add screenshots to the project description.

I was using the lightdm-webkit2 so I uninstalled and installed nody and changed the theme and set the greeter to nody, after that, I restarted to try it out, and now the only thing it appears is a black screen with a white hyphen. Using CTRL+ F2 F3 F4 F5 doesn't open the terminal.

A pop-up message should be displayed to match the original login screen behavior when an incorrect password attempt is entered.
